Cellphone Case with flowerette

Nowadays it isn`t practical to buy any accessories that you yourself can make, which includes a cellphone case. I have here a pattern that any beginner in crochet can make. This one is handy enough to tote your cellphones safely as it has a handle that fits well to your wrist. Enjoy making one or make as many as you can to give to friends or loved ones.

Size: 8 inches including handle

Materials Needed:

Scrap worsted weight yarn (color of your choice)

Glass beads

Worsted weight yarn (color of your choice)

Steel crochet hook No. 1

Directions:

Row 1:

-ch 16, sc on 2nd ch from hook. 1sc in each ch, 3sc in last ch. Work the opposite side of chain, 1sc in each ch, 3 sc in last ch. ss on 1st sc.

Row 2:

-ch 3, dc on next sc, 1 dc on each sc across. ss on top of ch3.

Row 3 - Row 15: Repeat row 2.

Handle & Edging:

-ch3, 1dc each on next 2 sts. *(ch3 turn, 1dc each on next 2dc)*repeat 16x. ch1, work an even number of sc across the sides of the handle (approx. 2sc each dc). To work edging; *(1sc, 2ch on st, skip 2 sts)*repeat 11x. Then work the remaining side of the handle, 2sc each dc. ss and fasten off. sew end of handle to the opposide of opening.

Flowerette:

-Using scrap contrasting colored yarn. ch 5, form a ring by making a ss to the first ch. ch1, make 20sc into the ring. *(ch3, 2dc on next 2 sc, ch3, ss on next sc)*repeat 4x, fasten off. sew flowerette to the end of handle and incorporate glass beads at the center of flowerette as you sew.
